This stamp set speaks to me. The style is similar to the Beautiful You stamp set I use often. I am also drawn to the New Zealand connection.
When a Stampin Up demonstrator reaches total sales of 1 million, they get to be part of designing a stamp set. It usually reflects something that is important to them.
This stamp set was designed by Jacqui Williams – NZ’s first demonstrator to reach this milestone. At our demonstrator gathering in November, Jacqui introduced us to the stamp and explained her motivation for the design. It so fits her and New Zealand. Notice the squizzle that looks like a mountain? It represents Rangiatoto Island. Jacqui is from Auckland!
So I had to try using the stamp almost as soon as I got it. Here are the cards I made using the mini catalogue (which was released in January) as inspiration
Colouring Experimenting – I am not a confident colour-er. So sometimes I try out different tools and methods of colouring. Partly as practice. And partly to help me see the approach that is likely to work best of me with a particular stamp set.
Here are my Beautiful Moments experiments
At the launch of mini catalogue earlier this month, one of the guests choose Beautiful Moments for the any stamp set challenge. Here is her card –
